Job Details
An opportunity has arisen to join a unique Lloyd's market insurance business as a Syndicate Actuary.
Working in a managing agency which manages a number of syndicates at Lloyd's, you will take the lead for actuarial support for a particular syndicate. This will include reserving, capital modelling and SII duties.
You will present work to board members such as the CEO, CUO and CFO of the syndicate, as well as providing advice on the underwriting portfolio and product development. You will also have direct exposure to the corporation of Lloyd's fulfilling regulatory requirements. There will also be the opportunity to work on other syndicates and learn about new lines of business.
Ideally you will have experience of reserving or capital modelling and be looking to take on more responsibility. Lloyd's market experience would be advantageous but not essential.
