A leading insurer are looking for a talented actuary to join their IFRS 17 team here in Hong Kong.
In this role you will:
- Lead the development of Group-wide IFRS 17 accounting requirements, practical application guidance and methodology specifications
- Drive the completion of required governance such as Steering Committee, Design Authority, Sub Design Authority etc.
- Conduct the parallel run activities such as constructing opening balance sheet, income statement, disclosure
They require:
- A qualified actuary
- Strong experience of the current actuarial reporting techniques (EV, IFRS, EC etc)
- 10 years relevant experience
- Knowledge and practical experience of IFRS 17 would be highly beneficial
- Ability to communicate fluently both written and verbally in English
