Job Details

A senior data scientist is required by this international insurance company to focus on the London market segment of their analytics and strategy function.

This team develops and implements predictive modelling capabilities to give this organisation the edge over its competitors and influence decision-making. This role will ensure the ongoing development of their advanced analytics capabilities.

A business facing data scientist role, you will work closely with business leaders to understand business problems and then collaborate across teams to provide a strong analytics solution. You will build predictive models, develop insights and tools, and help to drive best practice across the company.

You will have prior experience working in the non-life insurance market in an analytics role and ideally have knowledge of the London market.  Python is the language used, but those with coding experience in R (or other) and willing to learn will be considered equally.  Experience of SQL and cloud tech such as Databricks, Snowflake, Azure would also be advantageous.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership for a section of work and progress your career in this highly regarded organisation.
