Group client in Hong Kong is in the market for an actuary, for their reporting team.
In this role you will collect, interpret and review financial information and data visualization to produce financial reports related to quarterly results announcement. Analyze and summarize financial and operational information to support and drive business forward, predict future financial trends, analyze market trends and competitors, and support the development of financial information models and database.
You will have strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in financial reports and insurance business, preferably with a publicly traded company. Youu should have strong communication skills in English (verbal, written, graphic) and presentation skills.
You will be responsible for producing the Quarterly Board Report, supporting strategic planning, initiatives, and issues management, IFRS 9 & 17 financial analyses, and coordinating logistics and preparing materials for management meetings and presentations. You will also be the point of contact and proactively work with local business units on result announcement related and IFRS analytics related matters.
