Manager - Actuarial - Capital, Modelling, Data, Risk

Group Client in Hong Kong is seeking a technically strong Actuary for their Transformation team. This role will provide hands-on experience with advanced actuarial knowledge of value metrics as well as risk capital frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing insights and analytics to support the capital reporting and capital management teams on Capital use case and ICS reporting. This includes the half-yearly reporting process as well as the annual business planning process.

The role offers a breadth of exposure in advanced capital modelling and risk management frameworks working closely with the capital management team and local business units across the region.

Job requirements include excellent communication skills, ability to understand and explain complex actuarial modelling techniques and outputs, thorough understanding of key financial metrics of a long term insurance company and Asian long term insurance products, experienced in actuarial production and exposure to validation and/or audit procedures, and expert knowledge in capital metrics. Knowledge in both internal and regulatory capital models will be an advantage.
