Risk Analytics - Senior Manager

A Senior Manager is required to take a key role in a regional risk team responsible for oversight and business support on Financial and Life- risks as well as fulfilling Solvency 2 Pillar 1 and ERM requirements for the Group / Regional office.

The ideal candidate should be a part / qualified actuary with excellent communication skills and the ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders at different levels. The candidate should have a minimum of 8 years' actuarial experience in the life insurance industry, preferably in financial risk and life risk management or actuarial valuation.

The key responsibilities include driving forward regional risk management initiatives in Asia, leading cross-functional projects, and conducting country deep dives in Asian countries. Covering actuarial areas such as capital management / SII / Risk / MCEV etc

The role holder must navigate high degrees of ambiguity, analyze results of variable quality from multiple sources to identify the key facts important to senior management in driving the business forward. The successful candidate must present these in a non-technical and actionable manner while remaining focused on assessment.
