Actuarial HKRBC Senior Manager

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular capital reporting and valuations in accordance with the Hong Kong Risk-Based Capital (HKRBC) framework
• Analyze the organization's solvency position and identify key risk drivers impacting the capital standing
• Perform financial projections and scenario testing (e.g., Own Risk and Solvency Assessment, Stress Testing) to support decision-making and regulatory reporting
• Develop and enhance reporting processes to improve efficiency and analogical capabilities
• Provide statistical information to regulators as required
• Lead and coach the team to develop their skills and expertise
• Undertake other responsibilities and duties as assigned periodically by the supervisor to meet operational and/or other requirements

Job Requirements:

• A university or college graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the life insurance industry
• Qualified or nearly qualified Actuary
• Excellent people management, communication, presentation, and project management abilities
• Demonstrated capacity to effectively handle multiple priorities
• Substantial experience and knowledge in insurance product development and corporate actuarial work. Experience and knowledge in IFRS 17, HKRBC, and ALS modelling is preferred
• Proficiency in using actuarial software, such as Prophet, is an advantage
