Business Development Actuary - Asia
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a life and health actuary to join its team in a client-facing role in developing, managing and retaining a portfolio of clients.
In this newly-created role, you will utilize your knowledge and experience of life and health in Asia to play a critical role in actively engaging with clients across the region in the acquisition of new business. You will meet with clients to promote and present the company's brand and present attractive reinsurance solutions (eg. product ideas and structure reinsurance). Up-to-date and expert understanding of reinsurance solutions is key, as well as knowledge of regulatory requirements in relevant markets.
In order to be successful in your application, you should be a nearly or newly qualified (FIA, FSA, FIAA) life and health actuary with relevant working experience in (re)insurance, brokerage or consultancy. You should be comfortable in meeting with and delivering presentation to clients and ideally have had track record of success in working with clients. You should also be a commercial thinker, a self-starter, motivated and independent worker. Fluency in an Asian language would be highly advantageous.
