Head of Risk Management

FocusCore Group is working with a fast growing local leading insurance company in Myanmar. This company requires a Risk Management expert to join their expanding team in Yangon. 

Reporting to the Deputy Managing Director, you will be leading and managing the risk function and overseeing the implementation of risk processes and risk management system for the whole company. This is a fantastic opportunity to build up a fresh department from scratch and drive the department to set up the Risk Management framework, processes, and policies. With this high-visibility position within the management, you will play a critical role in the policy drafting and decision-making process through collaborating with the senior stakeholders.   

In order to be successful in your application, you should have at least 10 years of working experience from related functions such as Risk, Audit, Compliance Governance, or Actuarial from banking, insurance or consultancy in Asia.Understanding of insurance industry and international standards would be preferred. Knowledge of AML and FACTA would be advantageous. Previous leadership experience would be required.  Proficiency in Burmese language would be highly advantageous.
