Chief Pricing Actuary

FocusCore Group is currently working with a leading global life and health reinsurer with a well-established footprint across the Asia Pacific Region. As a result of strategic development and progression, this global firm is in search of an experienced pricing actuary to join their senior management team based in Hong Kong.

As a Chief Pricing Actuary, you will be responsible for developing the pricing strategy and leading the whole pricing function based on the overall strategic and market conditions. At the same time, you will work closely with the senior management and contribute innovative solutions and ideas to enhance the sustainability and profitability of the business. This high-visibility position will also enable you as a HK representative to effectively communicate local challenges and opportunities to the regional teams. 

In order to be successful in your application, you should be a qualified actuary (FSA, FIA, FIAA, FFA) with at least 15 years experience from a life insurer, reinsurer or consulting firm. Previous experience in the Hong Kong market will be preferred. Excellent oral and written skills in English will be required. Excellent communication skills in Chinese will be a great advantage.
