Pensions Actuarial Modeller - Insurance - London or South Coast
Fantastic new role for a technically minded Actuary to join a market leading Insurance business as a Pensions Actuarial Modeller in London or East Sussex. You will need to be a qualified Actuary or coming to qualification imminiently to be considered.
In this newly created role, you will be immersed in a Significant transformation project amalgamating multiple Pensions Administration systems into a bespoke system for their Retirement business line.
You will need to have a thorough understanding of Defined Benefits and appropriate conversions for individual Defined Benefits
Responsibilities
Liaise with technical specialist on existing systems to understand current capabilities,
Gathering requirements from internal stakeholders
Project managing from design through to build
Leading the delivery of your solution through close working with analysts and programmers
Meeting with internal governance committee to meet requirements ensuring best outcome for policy holders & company
Requirements
- Qualified FIA (or equivalent) Actuary or 2-3 exams remaining
- Good understanding of DB Pensions
- Demonstrable project management experience on technical projects
- Ability to work in an independent role
